Visualizing Acitivity

Today, we used the mucky weather to our advantage. We turned off the lights, put our heads on our desks, closed our eyes tight and used our minds to visualize as we listened as I read, "Listen to the Rain". As I read, the students were to visualize the book. I loved seeing the pictures as they sketched their hearts out, adding onomatopoeia words such as, "boom", "crack", and "splash". Below are pictures of the awesome work we accomplished!
